Candidate must complete all elements of the course assessments according to the date specified by the Partner Institute/Genetic Computer School, Singapore (GCS).
Candidate(s) must register for all the examinable papers as specified in the course / semester syllabus in his / her first registration/appearance in the examination.
In order to register for an examination, Partner Institute must complete a candidates list with their full name, sex, date of birth, registration no., by indicating clearly the subjects they should be examined.
Partner Institutes are also responsible to register their candidates who need to resit / retake examination clearly indicating the modules/subjects, which they wish to be examined.
It is the Partner Institute’s responsibility to confirm their students name for examination by sending a full list of their student’s details, which should reach GCS by the following date.

30TH APRIL OR 30TH MAY
30TH OCTOBER OR 30TH NOVEMBER (previous year)
Late examination registration and/or late Examination entries may be considered at GCS's discretion after the above mentioned registration closing date, provided any such application is accompanied by the late fee per Candidate, fee which will be returned if in case GCS does not accept the late entry.
Resit examination registration fees paid are not refundable.
Examination Registration is valid for particular examination period only.
Candidates who have not met the Examination Entry requirements and / or who have not paid the appropriate fees in full, will not be eligible to sit for the examinations, and GCS reserves the right not to mark their paper(s) or to withhold their results if they should sit these examination(s).
No examination entries will be considered One month before the examination due to commence.
ABSENT FROM EXAMINATION
Candidates who fail to attend an examination for which they have registered may transfer to a later examination period (subject to a fee, refer to Examination Administrative & Other Fee Structure) only if they have a valid reason for absence. Valid reasons include sudden illness or accident, and must be supported by documentary evidence (refer to the Mitigating Circumstances); any condition known about in advance is invalid. Candidates who are absent without a valid reason will be considered as having failed any papers missed/absent, which will have to be retaken.
Re-sit / Referral Examination Papers
In the event of a candidate failing in any examination paper, the failed paper(s) must be Resit and Pass within the prescribed period to be awarded a diploma / certificate.
Candidates who fail to complete GCS requirement within the prescribed period will not be credited with any Passes beyond that period and, should they wish to continue, must register again with Genetic Computer School (GCS), Singapore as new candidates.
Candidates marked Absent in their examination will consider ‘Fail’ in a particular or full examination and thus require to Resit the failed examination subject(s).
TRANSFER OF EXAMINATION
Candidates who register for an examination may transfer the part or full examination to a later examination period (subject to a fee, refer to Examination Administrative & Other Fee Structure) only if they have a valid reason for transfer. Valid reasons include sudden illness or accident, and must explain the mitigating circumstances and provide appropriate supporting documentary evidence. Any condition known about in advance is invalid.
